Founded in 2011, REACH Western Connecticut began with a simple belief: relationships can change the course of a young person’s life.

What started as a small effort to support local youth has grown into a year-round community serving more than 150 young people across Western Connecticut—providing consistent support during the moments they need it most.

At REACH, we create safe, predictable spaces where kids can show up as they are, build trust with caring mentors, and begin to believe in themselves. For many, it’s the one place they can count on for stability, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.

Through mentorship, outdoor experiences, academic support, shared meals, and summer camp, young people gain more than just activities—they build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges.

All programs are offered at no cost to families, ensuring that every child—regardless of their circumstances—has access to the relationships, opportunities, and support they deserve.

Today, REACH continues to grow with one goal at its core: to show every young person that they are valued, supported, and capable of more than they may believe.
