Our Programs

Consistent support. Meaningful relationships. Real growth.

REACH provides year-round programs designed to give at-risk youth the structure, support, and opportunities they need to thrive—both in and out of the classroom.

Summer Camp

REACH Summer Camp offers a full-day experience that blends academics, creativity, and outdoor adventure. Mornings focus on learning, arts, and athletics. Afternoons are spent on Candlewood Lake, where youth participate in activities like swimming, tubing, water skiing, and wakeboarding in a safe, structured environment.

More than just fun, camp is where confidence grows. Through shared experiences and strong mentorship, kids build teamwork, resilience, and a willingness to try new things. Camp runs five days a week throughout the summer and includes transportation, meals, snacks, and take-home food—ensuring every child can fully participate.

After-school Programs

After-school programming provides a consistent, supportive space for youth to learn, connect, and unwind.

Each day includes academic support, homework help, and structured activities, along with time to relax and socialize. Shared meals are a key part of the experience, helping build community and connection.

By creating a reliable routine at the end of the school day, this program helps youth feel supported both academically and emotionally.

Mentorship

Mentorship is at the heart of REACH. Through a one-on-one model, youth are paired with high school mentors who provide consistent encouragement, guidance, and support. These relationships build trust, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.

Participants also engage in group activities and team-building experiences that strengthen peer connections and reinforce positive decision-making.

We are also proud to announce that, as of mid-2026, our mentorship program has expanded to include another location in Bethel, CT.

Outdoor Expeditions

Outdoor Expeditions give youth the chance to step outside their everyday environment and experience something new.

Offered on weekends throughout the year, this program includes hiking, biking, and other outdoor adventures that build confidence, resilience, and teamwork—while creating lasting memories along the way.

When you invest time in a child’s life, that life changes.
